Escape the hassle of scheduling & coordinating some “me time.” You pick the date, we handle all the details!

We have great projects for girl’s night in, adult or kids’ birthday parties, pajama parties, office events and family nights! The kits come in groups of 5 with the option to purchase individual add-ons. We have several projects to choose from with many designs for each project!

We will travel up to 10 miles at no charge; if you live outside of 10 miles there is an additional, non-refundable $50 fee. Please contact us before submitting a deposit if you're outside the 10 miles from Freeport.

IF YOU’RE READY TO BOOK YOUR PARTY:

First, decide on your date and submit your deposit (refundable*) below. Next, we will call or email you to discuss the options for your kit or instructor led class. You can choose from one of the packages we offer or create your own! The kits come with raw wood signs/projects, one time use stencils, stain & paint, and all the supplies needed to create your own at the location of your choosing. Please note, all of our stain & paint are water-based and clean up easily with wet wipes or wet paper towels. We do however, encourage everyone to wear clothes that they won’t mind getting paint on in the event of a spill.

Private parties will have exclusive access of our instructor for up to 3 hours on the date and time you have secured. ONLY those who have registered can be present at your workshop. This allows our instructors to provide quality instruction without distraction.  PLEASE BE ON TIME. Everyone attending your workshop MUST BE 18 years of age or older (exception is for kids’ parties).

Deposit: A deposit between $50-$100 is required to reserve your date & time, depending on the amount of people. All deposits are refundable once the party minimums are met. Private Party minimum for an instructor led class is 8 people. There must be at least 8 registrations, or projects purchased, in order to receive your deposit back. 

If the minimum is not met by registration deadline, we will convert the orders to make at home kits and deliver to you. You can then arrange for your guest to pick up from you. There are no refunds.

If you have friends who want to participate but can’t make the event, they can still purchase a project and we will leave the kit with you. This will count as part of your minimum. Please have them leave us a comment during registration.

Registration:  Registration closes 2 weeks prior to your party in order to cut the stencils and build projects. As the hostess, you are responsible for inviting guests and making sure they register by your workshop deadline. 

Party space: INDOORS: We ask that you have sufficient space for safe distancing, good lighting and a small area for us to set up the paint & stain station. We even bring our own trashcans to clean up after the party.

 OUTDOORS: We provide the trailer with tables and chairs, as well as a tent, for outdoor parties. However, due to high humidity frequently in our area, we do not recommend hosting these events outside in the summer; the humidity will cause problems with paint & stain. In the months where humidity is low, then we’d love to be outside with you & your guests!

COVID GUIDELINES PLEASE READ: 

Suggested guidelines based on CDC recommendation:

  • Wearing a mask in a private home is not mandatory and is decided by the home owner on her preference
  • We will provide gloves to wear and have hand sanitizer available.
  • The instructor will get you your paint/stain colors of choice and you will use tools/sponges that are a one-time use or sanitized & cleaned in-between workshops; or they will all be prepackaged in the kits.
  • If you or your guests have a fever or feel sick leading up to the event, we respectfully ask you to stay home and contact us before 24 hours to let us know if you are not coming due to feeling unwell - if you cannot attend due to sickness you can opt to make the project at home (we will provide you with everything needed to complete at home - paint/stain/sponges etc.).
  • Due to most of our projects being made to order we have a NO REFUND policy.
  • Only people signed up for the event are allowed at the workshop.

By submitting your deposit below, you agree to the terms and guidelines above without exception; this includes our no refund policy.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Once your deposit has been paid, or your kit selected, our workshop coordinator will contact you within 2 business days to go over all the details for your private event.

Terms

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice. Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items. Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time.
